He was mentioning how the Leafs would pick a european kid over a homegrown talent more often than not, yet these kids grow up idolizing the team and would die to be on the Leafs.

Something to do with Fletcher’s comment that there are no franchise players in this years draft, which Cherry took as a slight against Tavares
