Bryan McCabe to Undergo MRI for Possible Broken Back
Awkward hit last night in his first game with the Panthers. It looked like his knee when it first happened, but apparently McCabe may have broken his back.

Wow...
Early indications suggest McCabe may have broken his back after colliding with Boston Bruins’ defenceman Dennis Seidenberg into the boards.
Bryan McCabe is so inept at playing defense that he collides with a Bruins defender while playing the Hurricanes….poor Bryan.

McCabe left Friday’s game midway through the second period and did not return. X-rays showed at least one fractured vertebrae.
Sounds like they’re gonna need another defenseman. Maybe we can trade them back Van Ryn.

Good Idea
Van Ryn’s looking good. Maybe Stephen Weiss-level good…

Ouch
Poor guy. Hopefully there are no long-term effects to the injury.

jeez
Only McCabe can make Leafs fans feel bad for someone we detest so much, he’s a God at making people think differently of him

Well put.
Yeah, that’s twisted! Feel bad though, hope he gets healthy and continues to suck despite being free of any physical handicaps.

That’s horrible, shit.
Moose watched the Oilers/Panthers (pre-season) game. He said that he was shocked at how dis-interested McCabe was during the game; totally phoning it in.

shocked?
Doesn’t Moose have to watch Leaf games as part of his court-ordered rehabilitation? I am shocked that Moose was shocked.

Is it just me
Or am I the only one getting this Twilight Zone feeling? Carlo kept trying to bounce the puck into his own net on Thursday night ala Bryan McCabe and now McCabe is out with a long-term injury in his first game ala Carlo…
