Funny thing
I tuned in about 10 seconds before that happened.
Surprising thing to see as your TV fades in.
the lady sitting right there
looked like she stepped in front of wendel clarks fist, over and over…

That was a sick play. The funny thing is that Van Ryn was more worried about getting the glass out of his hair/jersey than worrying about the hit.

Here’s the only other time I’ve ever seen anything like that. I remember Linden looked so horrified.

i like that 5 minutes later, van ryn was on the ice and scored the leafs first goal.
lucic, for once was right. they did think they could just run this team off the ice, and that’s how the B’s played. the leafs took the checks and kept shooting at the night…

This might be the start of me liking Van Ryan, he took getting run through the glass like it was nothing, plus for a while he looked like he had a spider on his neck and was thinking ’omggetitoffgetitoffgetitoff" which amused me to no end

Same here
I mentioned this to MF37 last night but I am definitely liking Van Ryn more and more each game. Very steady and it seems like he might be getting past his wrist problems.

Now he can make a claim few others can
That he scored an NHL goal with shattered glass in his ass

Yeah, Mike Van Ryn sure is looking like attractive trade bait, I agree.
