I could
really use that pile of money

they make 100$ bills in Canada?
oh the joys of being a student…
Making stuff up since real Leafs news is far too depressing
Yea they do
And that’s the old hundred bill in the picture, and for the record I have only held one in my hand like twice in my entire life-time.
"God's in His heaven. All's right with the world." - Robert Browning (1812-1889)
They used to make a $1000 bill. I only ever saw one twice – once at a bank, and the other time when someone was trying to buy 17 tickets to Wonderland and they had to empty the till from about 7-8 ticket booths to give the guy his change.
Was a 1953 print with the Queen at about 25. Multi-coloured but lots of pinky-purple, IIRC.
Leafs, the universe and everything.
It’s yet another bold prediction.

Seriously, brilliant. Buzz and digg this one.

as soon as I heard Enya, I just started cackling like a mad woman.
Even though methinks Freddie Mercury and Company summed up Sundin better (sorry Winkle, it’s a video of “I want to break Free” by Queen")

Awesome
Nice one Chemmy. LOL
Am I to understand that Grabovski is driving the train?
Hey, thanks for signing up PTR. Grabovski is much too handsome to be involved in a train crash.

Oh yeah
I’m looking forward to seeing Tucker and Sakic tear it up.
And to be fair, I at least miss Finger.
I’ll still watch him play, since living in Barrie gives me a whole ten Avs games a year, and only when they play a Canadian team.
That’s a rough life. I don’t know how other fans do it.

Nice
Now I am sad :( I miss ’93…

I used to drink Colt 45
Back in my darker days when I had no money… although to be honest, if you can make it through half the bottle the rest will taste like water cuz you’ll be so drunk.

Chemmy's vignette
Having been in exile for some time, I am making my first visit to the ACC this weekend. I will need to plan my intoxication strategy. Can I expect to experience all the emotions expressed in this ode to French realism (re: train wreck) in a single game. Or is it like groundhog day?
They sell gigantic Molsons at the ACC. Have three or four.

They are, no joke, buckets of beer. Three or four will floor you.

I like to sit down and chug an entire beer before the puck drops.
I picked up a two four of Molson Canadian for the game tonight. :D

Leafs and beer goggles - this could work!
Thash a good-lookin’ team there, eh?
Leafs, the universe and everything.
However
Their beers are expensive, IIRC the highest price in the league, and it’s very watered down. I would try to sneak your own in.

Very Expensive
Best bet is a mickey of rum in the front of your pants, a large coke, and a quick visit to the bathroom for mixing purposes.

Is drinking and driving still illegal in Ontario? I’ll have to teach one of my kids to drive in the next 48 hours (I knew they had a purpose). Either that or just claim I don’t speak english to any cop who pulls me over.

what if you had a bicycle? would that count as drinking and driving?
Making stuff up since real Leafs news is far too depressing
hahaha no idea. I know from my time in Copenhagen that drinking and biking is in fact a criminal offence. Luckily the local constabulary was understanding of my ignorance and lack of balance.

Then again
last time I checked Copenhagen isn’ t anywhere near Ontario
Making stuff up since real Leafs news is far too depressing
Too Risky
Last time I was at the ACC, there was decent police presence and I know they put up RIDE checks all over the area to catch drunk drivers.
And this was for a Marlies game.

Sure it is. It’s near St. Thomas.
(Seriously – googlemap it. Every major city on the planet is in Ontario.)

Keg of Blue...
It cost me about a million dollars and I had to search the entire state of Florida but I found one for my opening night party. You are all invited. (Directions…Get on the QEW and turn right when you hit Florida.)
If you hit water you’ve gone too far.
