Alright, so this is actually kinda lame...

Do I smell the occasion for a potential PPP meet and greet?

Justin Pogge, Mark Bell, Jeremy Williams, Ben Ondrus, plus a Wendel Clark bobblehead? Sign me up. Considering the Marl haven't topped 5K attendance in a season or so, we can't not get one.

The game is at 4, which leaves about enough time to find a bar and drink ourselves to death watching the Leafs play after the almost assured crushing loss by the Marlies. The Leafs will be playing the Blackhawks, so you know, the drinking will help.

I am

Intrigued.

Marlies tics are generally very affordable.

Road Trip!

If I leave on the 19th, call in sick to work for the week, and somehow manage to convince the wife it’s a perfect time for a cross country trip to watch a minor league hockey game…

Anybody throws me against the boards I'm gonna piss all over myself.

First 5,000?

Or only 5,000?

What would happen if there aren’t 5,000 people who show up that night? Could the ones who did show up get more bobbles?

That would be cool

We could pick up a few extra bobble heads and ship them to other PPPers

I would love and adore you for at least 12 minutes if you could finagle that for me, Winkle.

If I took my GF

We would pick up two and she wouldn’t keep hers. You two can duel to the death over it haha.

I'm pretty sure

the last time I went, more than a few people had several bobbleheads.

I will burn and pillage your houses and the houses of your loved ones until I receive a Wendel bobble head.

Just like Wendel would have wanted.

Holy crap

$40 is like the most expensive tickets they have

No

Lots of tickets left… I searched most expensive and best, and it gave me the $40 ones, I’m pretty sure there are ample cheaper seats available.

Based on past Marlies game experience -

Buy the cheapest ticket available.

Walk into Ricoh.

Sit wherever you want.

This and exactly this. The 5000 limit on bobbleheads is laughable, it only becomes a scarcity if they start giving people three per entry.

It’s Lusty bobblehead night on December 14th. Dammit, I don’t think I’ll be back in Toronto that early. CuJo on the 27th could work, though. He could sit upstairs with the Darcy Tucker bobblehead I got last year…

HOLY CRAP

Just got this in my work email… from one of the managers in the office…

My daughter’s basketball team is having a raffle to raise money for tournaments in the US.

The 1st prize is two Leafs/Canadien tickets, front row on the glass!! for Jan 11

The 2nd prize is two Raptor platinum tickets vs the Boston Celtics for April 4.

Tickets are 1 for $5 and 3 for $10

How many tickets should I get? Front rows are like what? $300?
