I thought I heard someone say that Burke was about to speak but like you said, they started tearing down.

TSN reported that he would be at the presser, maybe they also wrote that he would speak. i didn’t read much else on coverage of it…

he was struggling with the decision whether to sign the extension or not…by all accounts, he was happy in Anaheim, but it was a family thing…
i mean, imagine that, a guy struggling to make a decision…

Sure but if he loved the Samuelis so much and they loved him then why not ask for his release sooner?
