Crashing the Party...

Word on the street is that some enterprising Habs fans have created a macro of some sort to "stuff the ballot" for the NHL all star game. Firstly, let me say, props to your ingenuity.

Say what you will about this method, but in all honesty, who cares? The Habs are celebrating their centennial year, they've got the All Star game in their rink, and they are icing a very good team with serious, and well placed, aspirations for the Cup. What they don't have is Mikhail Grabovski.

It got me to thinking. What if all Leaf fans started writing in Grabs for the All Star game. I know that our fan bases are both significant in size and passion. Unlike Sens fans, I begrudgingly respect Habs fans. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to poop on their party and piss on their parade.

What I am proposing is a write in campaign for Grabovski. To have our GRABBO front and center at the All Star game, centering the first line of the team. Poetic. Vindictive. Whatever. Are you with me?

i've put out some feelers...

i know a couple of coders from my old job, not sure how familiar they are in Java, but I think one of them might be able to hack the script and have it write in Grabovski for us, so we can automate the process…

UPDATE

they’ve installed CAPTCHA at the voting site now, so automation won’t work, not that we were gonna do that…

so, put your best foot forward, clear off your calendar and devote 5-10 hours a day writing in Grabovski votes. and tell all your friends to do the same!
