Do we need any more proof that Mats is about to stab us in the chest? This is what I found on icejerseys.com when I searched for Sundin Jersey.

well, with 56 he can erase the memory of Wozniewski/herpes/make-a-wish, which is good

He could have gone to Ottawa at the deadline to try and win a cup and I wouldn’t have cared. I’m just upset he went back on his word.

he should take a pay cut, and sign up in SJ…
20-3-1. not too shabby a record…

That would be acceptable to me. Signing in Detroit for peanuts would also not make me vomit blood.

Vancouver just makes so much sense to me. A Cdn team, a team in need of offense, a team with the best goalie in the world, a decent Swedish contingent…

Stop it
Not fucking Vancouver. I already want to firebomb the city like Dresden so don’t give me another reason to do it.

I hate the city of Vancouver and it has nothing to do with hockey. I find the place absolutely soulless and I get this weird feeling of claustrophobia whenever I visit.
Anyplace that makes me wish I was in Calgary has something desperately wrong with it.

Sorry, after nearly 20 visits the place just hasn’t grown on me…also, I’ve never visited a place (other than Napoli) with worse drivers and more confused pedestrians.

OK
well I’m hoping he doesn’t go there, just so you guys won’t be so mad at him.
Mats is sensitive. He feels pain, just like you and I. He cries real tears.

Sundin would never cry in public. Plus, he’d be wearing his poker shades. He only cries on my shoulder, late at night.

Personally, any team but Montreal is equal on the annoyance level. Ottawa is no different than Florida in my eyes.
Even Montreal has nothing to do with the rivalry, just that it’s the specific team he wouldn’t go to at the deadline.

Anywhere that’s a legit contender is ok in my books, excluding Montreal or the Rangers.
Ottawa’s not a contender, so if he went there I’d be pissed.

I think he’s going to end up with Hershey Bears.
They’re the strongest (Calder) Cup contender, they play in the east, and if Mats wants it to be all about the journey it might as well be by bus.

I’ll be fine as long as he doesn’t go to Ottawa, Montreal or Vanvoucer – in that order. Imagine if he went there and helped them win a Cup. We would never hear the end of it.
