Chatty Cathy December 3, PART 2
Overflow! Let me sail, let me sail, let the Orinoco flow, Let me reach, let me beach on the shores of Tripoli. Let me sail, let me sail, let me crash upon your shore, Let me reach, let me beach far beyond the Yellow Sea. From Bissau to Palau - in the shade of Avalon, From Fiji to Tiree and the Isles of Ebony, From Peru to Cebu fear the power of Babylon, From Bali to Cali - far beneath the Coral Sea. From the North to the South, Ebudae into Khartoum, From the deep sea of Clouds to the island of the moon, Carry me on the waves to the lands I've never been, Carry me on the waves to the lands I've never seen. We can sail, we can sail... We can steer, we can near with Rob Dickins at the wheel, We can sigh, say goodbye Ross and his dependencies We can sail, we can sail...

Early: You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I’ve ever had to transport, yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

you'd think
that would be the thing to do… but when i was single, I had more time… and the fact that rather than living downtown, I live in the burbs, doesn’t help either.
In fact, I’d have to say that living in the burbs has contributed to this more than anything else. I use to walk everywhere, now I drive everywhere. I used to live across the street from the gym and go whenever I felt like it, now where I live there’s only 2 gyms within reasonable driving distance, and they’re both stupidly busy so I won’t go.
Thank goodness I’m saved by having an office gym.

Done
I will never see anything with Hugh Grant or Patrick Dempsey (recently added to the list after Made of Honor) ever again so long as I shall live.
Thanks Blurr, I knew you weren’t all bad.

But
the Hugh Grant-ness of the movie is balanced out by the presence of Liam Niesson

there’s the kid, and he’s after the girl who sings the song at the talent show, and the kid plays drums for the song. and his dad drives him to the airport, and the kid jumps security and goes after the girl…

Dish network is giving us two new DVR’s, taking $5 a month off our bill, and adding a bunch of channels to us for a onetime upgrade of a penny, with no additional charges.

Differing rates
of fall though, Toronto has dropped slightly but nowhere enough to make anything remotely affordable still

housing costs in Manhattan Beach (my favorite spot in all of SOCAL) are still in the millions of dollars, down from the millions of dollars they used to be…
anyhoo. there’s a city we drive through sometimes on the way to lake tahoe called Stockton. place looks like a shanty town. turns out there are more homes in foreclosure in stockton than any other city in the states. sad…

put all that dough in our new house, and still bought it before things blew up huge.
long story short, we’re sitting pretty.

Double albums are always a risky proposition! I do like a fair bit of Mellon Collie, especially “Bodies”, which is like 3 chords of fuzz in the whole song. Too bad Billy forgot how to write a good tune lately!
there are tunes i really like...
but it seems like there’s plenty of filler to…good tunes:
jellybelly
xyu
here is no why
where boys fear to tread
bodies
tales of a scorched earth
forgetting a few. basically, all the heavier ones

Women on the street
Maybe its just me, but they don’t really seem to smile anymore.
I walked past a countless number of girls today on my way to work, each with this half-pout, half-scoul on their faces.
Perhaps, somewhere along the way, they were informed that this look is ‘sexy’. but I’d have to disagree. SMILING is sexy.
That is all.
Big Smoke Sports - We Burn The Buds, Roll The Raps, and Smoke The Jays
lol if that WAS true
You’d think it’d be funny enough to elicit a smile as well

exactly
smiling is sexy, and if you look sexy, you risk being hit on as you walk down the road.
