Man Falls From Upper Deck at Senators Game
"According to witnesses, the young man sailed headfirst past and over a few stunned onlookers in the rows ahead of his seat before clearing the low railing at the bottom of the third level and falling onto a row of seats in the level immediately below."
He probably realized that he was a Sens fan and jumped.

John Muckler?
Oh, Mr. Fall Down Go Boom is described as “young.” There goes that theory. Martin Gerber’s agent?

wow
that sucks…thankfully he’s alright.
did he spill the beers? it doesn’t say that in the article, so i’m assuming, as an upstanding young canadian, those were of the utmost importance…

I looked up a picture and it doesn’t seem like he fell that far. If he was really hurt I would have posted the Bell hit on Alfredsson.

That is my worst fear.
Well, being a Sens fan is too, but I always have a phobia of falling over the railing in the upper deck at any arena. WHY ARE THE SEATS SO STEEP?!

Skydome is the worst
Seriously, sitting in the 500s, while rowdy and fun, is one of the more harrowing places to stand up anywhere. One tumble and you’re down to the 100s – I’m actually surprised more of the drunk massholes haven’t fallen to their doom.
Although old Tiger Stadium and Yankee Stadium upper decks look and seem to be even worse places to lose your footing.

I thought masshole was a relative term
Akin to calling Toronto Blue Jays fans like myself as, “Those who couldn’t afford Leafs tickets”.
“Hey cockmaster, it’s called a strikeout, not a hat trick! Go back to Canada!”
Very true on SkyDome
I have been to two games, once with seats in the 200’s (mid deck) and once with seats in the 500 and I have to agree, you really get quite a sense of vertigo up there and being terrified of heights doesn’t help… to the point that I get nervous even standing up.

Mark Bell was sighted in the upper deck and Sens fans wearing Alfredsson jerseys started jumping to escape.

We should've
Sent Hollweg instead, no one would ever see him coming from behind

We should throw Hollweg off the 500 deck of the Skydome.

I’m not hungover yet, I just figured a I could sleep in in a little for once

We both know you don’t need a reason to drink

Senators president and CEO Roy Mlakar said the man was carrying two beers when he stumbled over a purse.
I couldn’t write it any better than that.

Wait
So the dood spilled 2 beers when he went over?
Doesn’t that constitute as alcohol abuse?

Wow, this guy really couldn’t hold his beer. In the United States they call it moral turpitude, “conduct that is considered contrary to community standards of justice, honesty, or good morals”. I remember those end blues in the Gardens to be one shaky railing away from being in the net.

I was affraid that when we lost Maurice we’d loose the witty media quotes, but Wilson is even better at it because he’s mean.
