They got the order wrong

Number 9 should be Number 3, and Number 4 should be Number 1. I’m okay with Number 2 being Number 2, but the rest could easily be replaced. Except maybe Mcreary’s hit on The Great Villain. That was pretty awesome. Maybe that should be Number 1 actually.

1 is more of a knee. 4 is an actual attack on human life. It is so devastating that the argument for best hit should probably begin and end there.

Apparently on the Clark/Bell hit, Greg Millen is the goalie and he’s yelling “you’ve got time, lots of time” to Bell as he picks up the puck.

Further proof that nothing intelligent has ever come out of his mouth when it comes to the Leafs.

Two other things

I first saw that McCreary hit last year. He was a Leaf and still screws us? But what a hit.

And two, the call on that Richardson hit is amazing “And Granato thinks he’s in Grenada!”

After a quick google search, this McCreary is the referee’s cousin. And I can find several references to Don Cherry saying it was his final shift, but nothing official. I think Cherry says that in one of the early Rock’em Sock’em videos. Might be an urban legend.

full on trucking a goalie is just more fuel to the fire that he was a giant douche, I know it was back in the day of “stay in your crease or else” but come on, he didn’t even slow down.
My favourite part (other than the Clarkstruction of Bell) was Lowe’s head smacking off the boards knocking his ass out, I always hated Lowe and I don’t know why.
