Hamilton Breeds Wimps
As if being Ti-Cats fans wasn't bad enough Canada's best LPGA player, that hails from the Steel City, apparently needs a spinal transplant.
Listen, these colours don't run. Put on a Leafs' head cover and hold up four fingers anytime a senators' fan opens their mouth.

So she’s just going to stop being a fan the moment things get a little dicey?
Methinks Howard Berger and Damien Cox have a new favorite golfer!

Or is she a sens fan in ottawa and a Flames fan in Calgary…etc like any good travelling act?
Either way, I e-mailed her to get to the bottom of this.

Full disclosure: BC Lions fan. One of these weeks they’ll get around to playing 4 solid quarters! And then.. DOMINATION!
Damn Western conference is too good.. Worst in the west would still be tops in the East, practically ;)

Damon Allen won me a case of beer the last time our two teams met.
Now if they could only be convinced to leave BMO Field alone.

Ah, good ol Damon.. The problem with Quarterbacks in the CFL is that they get to a point where perhaps they CAN keep playing, but they really shouldn’t.. Mostly for the sake of their own health (see: Dickenson, Dave)
I can’t wait for the renovations on BC Place to take the roof off that after the olympics.. Currently it’s like the world’s biggest sweat lodge when watching a football game. Gross.

Football should not be played indoors, that’s just lame IMO. Getting rained on/snowed on is part of the experience!

Regarding Hockeybuzz (thought it was pretty funny)
Author and sports writer Gare Joyce has correctly opined that hockey is a business like no other in that “Rumours are to hockey what statistics are to baseball.” Translation: it’s not a good thing when the industry is driven by speculation rather than facts.
That said, I’m certain an enterprising fellow could profit from this situation by setting up a website offering “information”, supplied by unnamed sources and presented by an anonymous host, and then surround that “reportage” by a dense mass of invasive advertising.
Indeed, he could even tease these “stories” over a number of hours, perhaps days, requiring the site guests (some of whom might even be foolish enough to pay for “premium” services) to make multiple repeat visits to learn the latest twists and turns of the “news”.
Heck, if the fellow was really clever, he’d program a fault in the way the pages initially load, so that to reveal the next page links hidden behind a “misplaced” banner ad, you need to refresh the page, effectively doubling the number of hits.
The only question is are there enough people who would support such a craven enterprise…

No Way
Who would ever fall for that sort of set-up? Making the front page load improperly and banner ads to cover page links to increase hits? And he’d get people to pay him to lie to them? I think you’re lying. No such place could ever exist.
