The Greatest Sweater EVAR

I own a Tie Domi jersey that happen to have the captain's "C". It's a rather odd article of clothing if you know the Leafs, so I'll share the story of how I came about it.t was an awesome birthday present frmom the same ex-boyfriend who started my blogging in the first place. The conversation went a little like this:BF:

BF: Now, I'll warn you that is is so awesome, as soon as you open it you'd  jump me even  in public

LD:/opens box

LD/:sees Leafs logo, lights up like Christmas tree

LD:/turns it over, sees DOMI

LD:/Shrieks like Japanese schoolgirl

LD:But wait--Tie Domi wasn't ever captain of the Leafs...I don't think....

BF: Really? Well, it was free to put on, so I just did [note: he never said what website he got this off of, so I don't know where he found it]

LD: Whatever it's still AWESOME!

(The following bit happened at some point later, something like a month after getting it. We were watching the last few minutes of a Leafs game)

BF: Congradulations, Leafs just won.

LD:Whoo! Oh--I looked it up. Apparently Tie Domi was captain since the team was in betqween real captinas, so they let him wear the C for, like, a day.

BF: Ha! I know more a out the Leafs than you do! [Note: I may or may not still owe him dinner or something as a result of this, I can't remember] 

You know, I almost got you a uh...what's his name? Sundin--yeah, his jersey. And there was another one i was thinking, a defesneman, I think

LD:Kaberle?

BF: NO it was another guy...(BRYAN McCABE skates by on screen) That guy!

LD: Don't worry, you made a great choice with Domi

BF: I figured as much

So, long story short, my non-hockey loving ex knew something I didn't know, and I got an awesome jeresy out of it.
