FTB - Hump Day Eve Edition

Editor's note, our anonymous FTB posting continues this week! Email us your thoughts.

Our boys in blue came up goose eggs in last night's spirited (and by "spirited" I mean boring) affair.  I'd have something to tell you about the game, but I was so bored, I must have passed out.  On to the links!

If Harold Ballard can be in the Hall despite ruining hockey’s greatest franchise, then Don Cherry gets in no question.

It hurts me to no end that both of the mystery FTBers have completely ignored tons of new content over at my lovely little blog. Kerry Fraser, Tom Fergus on a stretcher, sexy ol’ Pat Boutette. What do they want? Blood?! Well, there’s some of that over there too!!!

by somny on Jan 20, 2009 10:51 AM EST up reply actions

It depends

On whose blood. Very important.

This wasn’t aimed at either of the two FTBs posted so far, just a general note.

Oddly enough, this is also the official slogan of the 2009 Leafs defense core.

Down Goes Brown - Unapologetically nostalgic for the past. Brutally realistic about the present. Grudgingly optimistic about the future.

I think it’s tough to create an FTB that really stands out…perhaps as a second challenge, the guest writers should have to come up with something that a) takes an item off your plate that you don’t want to do; b) is more creatively challenging and c) involves MSpaint.

I think it's tough

in part because if you hang out in the Chatty Cathy, it’s going to be rather easy to spot your personality and then people may be swayed more by what they know you’re like overall rather than the quality of the writing.
