This was shown on an episode of Daily Planet on Discovery a few months back, I remember watching it and they interviewed the guy who came up with the idea, dood’s one of those average-joe-who-thinks-cobbles-everything-he-can-find-together-cuz-he-thinks-he’s-an-inventor type hacks.

put that guy on Dragon’s Den. It’s so funny when those guys are on there.

But yeah… I don’t know that CuJo and Toskala are exactly the best goalies to test this on. Maybe they should try them out in Boston.

The idea has been expanded, the guy originally only changed the bevel of the cross-bar so anything that hits the cross bar will pretty much go in, but he didn’t modify the posts.

So explain this to me like I’m a Sens fan… why create a bizarre new shape for the net instead of just adding like an inch or two to overall size (which wouldn’t even be noticable to a fan watching).

Who ranks #44? Because it sounds like that guy’s team needs to trade for Vesa.

Good thing MVR isn’t playing tonight. Despite a bum shoulder Lucic still lurks. Hopefully MVR gets back in there soon. He’s mature and seems to be a good kinda leader for this young group. As long as this team wins the Tavares Cup.. all is okay.
