Booooo
Nothing new there.
Pension Plan Puppets: A Toronto Maple Leafs blog and a group therapy session.
I agree it’s another ho-hum article with surprisingly little insight. I say surprisingly because I would think with the same names being bandied about, the writer could have done something different to stand out from the rest of these types of articles.
Yeah
We know the names that are on the block (everyone but Schenn) but why not give us an idea of what teams might be interested in them, what teams could fit them under the cap, what trades could be look at as a proxy, etc.
Not that blurr did something bad in posting that fanshot. Now you all know why you shouldn’t go to the Bleacher Report ;)

Nothing new here either. Very similar. Maybe just more eloquent.

Is it just me or is everyone sick of hearing rival fans talk about how much we are over valuing players?
I mean, I’m sure most of us are to some degree or another, but isn’t that what being a fan of a certain team leads to? Isnt it to be expected?.
I havn’t heard anything too drastic like Straleman for Crosby with any seriousness.
Fuck em, I’m drunk

Especially because they do the same to their own players or they ridiculously undervalue Leafs.

Popular players have additional trade value. We can maximize our return by propping up a players public image with strategic fanaticism and adoration. Gullible fans in Florida, Colorado, and St. Louis can eagerly await a “former fan-favorite from Toronto” by buying a few sweaters and tickets.
