I still can’t figure out the Raycroft or the Toskala deal.
There is absolutely no market for goalies – most move for no more than a second round pick. Yet the Leafs cough up serious assets for these two chumps (Rask for Raycroft) and a 1,2,4 pick for Toskala. To compound the error, they sign both to 2 year contracts, doubling their salary before they play a single game for the Buds.
JFJ’s incompetence needs a new unit of measure. Something massive like Kelvins or something.

That was a good recovery from Schenn – he took out the hab behind the net, but made a brutal pass up to his wing. Fortunately he cooly picked that puck out of the slot and set up a nice rush by Stempniak (who promptly failed to get it deep, despite the line change, causing all sorts of problems for the Leafs).
