he’s also correct in pointing out that building through the draft like Chicago can get you in cap trouble, and you’ve got to be lucky with your picks, as none of them are guaranteed.

This team is just not mentally tough enough. They get some sustained pressure, the opposition makes a few saves, and then they get scored on in transition.
After that, they play like they expect to lose… it is frustrating and depressing.

i’m going to the game into Chicago in a month. i’m seriously worried they may still be winless at that point. it’s going to be tough to enjoy that game… even if they win, i’ll have very little shit to talk to chicago fans.
That just means you need to practise your shit-talking. So far this season, I’ve severely outchirped a Habs fan and a Sens fan on the very nights their respective teams beat the Leafs.
