Truculence Tracker: Colton Orr v. Georges Laraque
This is something new for this season that'll hopefully track all of the Leafs' fights this season. Thanks to Hockey Fights for the videos and be sure to log in and vote in their poll for this fight available here.
This was a hell of a first tilt. 1:51 into the season Colton Orr wanted to make it known to all comers that he was going to be our bearer of bellicosity. The big surprise is that Laraque fought after a season in which he took a lot of heat for skirting the issue. He starts off strong and as Orr is getting the upperhand he goes for the takedown which in my mind should be an extra penalty because it's a pretty dangerous play as shown by Jordin Tootoo's slam on Tim Sestito.

Draw. Maybe a slight edge to Laraque even though takedowns are overrated. Good show by both guys.
Down Goes Brown - Unapologetically nostalgic for the past. Brutally realistic about the present. Grudgingly optimistic about the future.
