the whole wearing a bag thing I never understood. If your so disgruntled with your team that you’d wear a bag on your head for the entire game, why go to the game? It probably makes the game much harder to watch and you look like a jackass. Just don’t buy tickets and let us, the fans who aren’t ashamed to be seen in the stands, go instead. These guys are worse than those sushi eating fucks who aren’t even in their seat for half the game.

just to clarify, I was referring to platinum seat members, not Japanese people. I don’t want anyone to get the wrong idea

Bags are for idiots that secretly are still in love with their team, but find it unfashionable for whatever reason to display this in public.

The brown bag lets them tell the popular crowd at work, “man I’m so pissed that I wore a brown bag to the game”.

It also lets them you know, actually see the game, which is what they want.

Like you said, it’s stupid.

I can’t take that hockeybums article seriously considering they don’t even know how many games the Leafs have played. I know it’s a small error, but it certainly takes a lot of steam out of any logic they might have employed.

Or maybe it’s a joke that I just don’t understand.

Wow
5) Sign Manny Fernandez- Have Jonas Gustavsson take over the starting role and have Fernandez back him up. Fernandez is still a quality goaltender and he could teach Gustavsson a couple things as well. He would come heap as well on a 1 year deal (0.75-1.0)

6) Sign Kyle Calder – This is another good third-fourth liner, he will come in cheap and will take over for the next player.

I don’t know what else to say…

The blame should be on Burke, giving away Kubina, who I think is way better then Komserek, was a dumb move. Moore is available, the man had heart and more skill then most of the bums playing now.

Beaver Hunter on October 22nd, 2009 9:43 am
Well, Matt, a first pick over all usually turns into a star, some turn into super stars and Boston is getting two! the second rounder could turn into a 2nd liner at best. What are you dumb!

Certifiable.
