Ugh
Look, it's Sunday and I've actually had to work today. It's late, and I love you all, but I need my sleep...
- Dr. Steve thinks the Leafs may not be a "Brian Burke team."
- TSM doesn't think the Leafs are 0-81-1 bad. They just may not be all that good either...
- Leafs247 has a few suggestions on what the Leafs need to do to win. I'm thinking "score more goals."
- The header may say "No Stanley Cups Allowed" but that doesn't mean hope is not welcome.
- TML FanFury is curious: do you prefer Francois Beauchemin and Mike Komisarek over Bryan McCabe and Pavel Kubina?
- Truculence is Everything takes a look at painful comments.
- Remember that guy TSN decided to front page as a "former player" who had some damning things to say about Ron Wilson? This Fanhouse article says: "Ya, about all that..."
- Mother Pucker hockey proves that not only are Leaf fans the best looking hockey fans, they're also infinitely more intelligent than the rest. Sorry dude, but CBC ain't quitting on the Leafs in your lifetime, let alone this season. Have your say over there, and maybe drop some ka-nahl-edge.

Shouldn't that be
“Epically Craptastic Comments”?
Ya okay, that makes it not “CCC” but those are just epic fails right there.
Truculence...starting 10/1/09
Considering I can't really change the title of the feature...
I’m stuck with it. But the comments that I took care of are just the worst examples of Canucks failery right there.

I don’t know why, but I keep thinking that the Leafs won’t win until Rickard Wallin scores a goal. I must just be going crazy with anticipation. This Leafs squad is great at building suspense.
It seems unlikely that we’ll go 0-81-1.

Very very unlikely....
no matter what delusionally drunk Canucks fans or Habs or SNES fans say.

My comment refers to my feelings on the likelihood of Wallin scoring a goal.

Re: TMLFanFury's Question
My answer would be “Depends on what you do with the $2.5 million you save on not having McCabe and Kubina”

The best thing I can say
about Saturday’s game is that the Leafs ran into the wrong goaltender at the wrong time. In in his last 5 starts, including last night’s 2-0 win over Edmonton, Luongo has a 1.20 GAA and a ridiculous .954 SV%. The Canucks have won 4 of their last 5 despite only scoring 11 goals, 2.2 per game.

Or to put it more succinctly: we got Luongoed.

it was tough to watch
I was impressed by the jump the Leafs had in the bottom of the 3rd, seriously, they probably spent 8 or the last 10 minutes in the Nuck’s zone throwing everything including the kitchen sink at Luongo
how the puck never got in I will never understand

I only saw the last half of the 3rd due to being out and not having access to TV
but that was the hardest half period I have ever had to watch
this team is due for a break, it has to be
Depressing thought...
The Leafs have fewer wins right now than the DETROIT LIONS.
I will now set myself on fire. This has got to turn around sometime. AMIRITE?

This is off topic but I’m sure you’ll all survive. I stumbled upon this at Yahoo! Answers:
Q: Why do Yankees fans chant “Who’s Your Daddy?” at Pedro Martinez?
A: Yankees fans are insecure about their parentage and are projecting.

I just love Sean Leahy’s tweet:
I can’t wait for the “Who’s Your Daddy?” chants to return in Game Two
Yeah those Who’s Your Daddy chants really threw Pedro off his game in 2004.
