Florida Panthers: Team signs center Dominic Moore
Rebel Yell has found a new home in the south. The Panthers, also known as the home of the Leaf Castoffs. Hopefully he'll be happy with his Captain, Bryan McCabe.

How much was he asking for again?

he was asking 2-2.5 per I think…I think the Leafs would have resigned him for 1.6-1.8 or so…

I think Burke offered him 2 million per for a couple of years but he turned it down apparently hoping for a bigger paycheck from the Leafs or another team.
Yeah, 4th liners always achieve permanant success after one solid season. Like Belak after ’03.
Boo hoo!

What his agent really means
He’s really excited about it," said Moore’s agent, Larry Kelly
Burger King aren’t recruiting, he’s downloaded all the porn his hard drive can handle and he doesn’t have the money for ODST.
He thinks it’s a huge opportunity to play for [Coach] Peter DeBoer. DeBoer is one of the brighter guys in the game.
He’s never understood pythagoras and hopes DeBoer can explain it to him.
It’s a perfect fit for Dom.
He got kicked out of the Salvation Army hostel.
People don’t realize he broke his wrist three days after joining Buffalo
That taxi driver had it coming!
He played with it the whole balance of the season and then was in a cast for six weeks after the season. It was just an unfortunate circumstance.
Buffalo sucks. Please don’t make us go back.
I think Dom brings so much to the table for them
They’ve hired him as a waiter.
He’s so smart. He’s a great penalty killer. He’s an outstanding forechecker.
He’s the type of player Florida should be able to draft.
He’s got a complete game and that’s what you’re going to see.
He finally got the last piece of his mail order chess set and wants to show it off.

Florida Panthers Motto?
Bring us your tired, your poor, yourhuddled massesformer Leafs players yearning to befreeon a crappy NHL team in nicer weather where nobody will know you.
Being a Leaf fan here requires one to be sufficiently lubricated... and truculent!
whats the count at now?
Roberts, Nieuwendyk, Belak, Kilger, McCabe, Belfour, Moore…. am I missing anyone?
There is no "I" in team, but there is an "M" and an "E"

Kilger
technically was never a panther, as he never showed up…

Wouldn’t that be the other way around? Technically he was a Panther but in practical terms he wasn’t?
