I love the smell of victory first thing in the morning
I still can’t believe Vesa Toskala played so well last night. Can he do it again against the Islanders tomorrow night?

In related news, I went to the game friday night against the habs and the habs fan behind me didn’t know how long a hockey game was. They had a jersey and everything!

I know I've been fooled by this before...
but is Allaire getting through to Toskala? This is the most decent games I’ve seen him string together as a Leaf.
Maybe it’s the remnants of the rum from last night talking though, who knows.
Prefers pugnacity to truculence.

I sure hope so
It’d also be nice if those painful first games he played was just a slow start after his surgeries.
We can all hope. I’d like to see some more of this confidence before im ready to come back on board the vesa wagon

Im really glad i went to the open practice in the morning and stuck around for the washington skate. I managed to heckle Varlamov just enough to get him off of his game. :)
And the only cap who wasnt a dick and would sign some autographs for the kids was Green.
It was great to see Vesa play well, I felt bad for him as he got a bit of the bronx cheer in the morning at the open practice. Hopefully he doesnt embarass the shit out of himself anymore this season, but im not holding my breath.
I was really glad to see Wallin out of the lineup, the 4th line looked much better with Orr -Primeau-Mayers

Ya that is sort of asking for a lot.
I’ve always liked Green, especially when he was rockin’ the Mohawk. I felt bad when he fell apart during playoffs last year
