Seriously, this game is scaring me in a good way. Up next: Satellite Hot Stove with some sort of massive surprise from Pierre LeBrun. Draper just tried to say that the game plan has unravelled but I think the Leafs are defending quite effectively. Let's keep our eyes on the prize boys: 28th place.

They arent selling tickets down south because they are going back into the trap style game. No you arent selling tickets down south because they dont get hockey down there. Not to mention when the teams/league dont really try to get themselves into the community and build places for kids to go skate, your not gonna build a fanbase.
And when they do try... they don't even promote themselves
The Panthers were promoting last Friday’s game against the Caps about 50% Panthers and 50% Ovechkin.
That only slightly backfired on them.

Exactly. The League says they wanna keep all those teams in non traditional markets yet, they dont try hard enough to really go for hearts and minds of the people that are down there. Its all about trying to make money in the short run. Not holding chances for the fans to meet and to get to know the players on their teams, not giving people more access to the team and what hockey is all about. Its really sad and makes the NHL look like hypocrites.
