The exception for Quebec is when you’re drafting goalies…

That’s just the first thing that came to my mind… surely there are more? Agreed though, less top-quality goalies from Quebec in the last 10 years than in either of the two decades before that.

I forget who brought it up before, but it seems like every time a super star goalie is found somewhere, there is a sudden huge influx from the area because scouting in that location ramps right up, Roy in quebec, Kipper in finland etc etc

Even outside of goalies… the Leafs’ recent fixation on anything Swedish comes to mind…

Cuma got cut too, suck it Ottawa (as in the city because he plays for the 67s, who suck)!
Moustache Fever, not to be confused with swine flu.
wow
the digs on Kadri are hysterical. “One dimensional,” “hasn’t done anything” etc etc etc…
Also just goes to show, even when it’s news about the Habs, the fans still try to make it about Toronto…
I have nothing interesting to say.

how many 18 year olds have ‘done something’, only sidney crosby comes to mind

I especially like how he hasn’t done anything to prove himself,…. yeah ok.
Life as a Toronto Sports Fan?... *sigh*... It is what it is...
i know, i mean he was only drafted, what, 10 slots ahead of Leblanc and WASNT drafted just because he was from the area and spoke a certain language?

Not to mention the crazy hot streak that he has been on riding the wave to being one of the leader scorers in the OHL? Nope nothing.
Life as a Toronto Sports Fan?... *sigh*... It is what it is...
he also has 2 of the best scoring streaks so far this season. 10 points in 5 games, and 8 in 4.

those comments
got to love the leaf haters bashing Kadri, if their teams drafted him he would be a shoe in to make the team but a leaf prospect only makes the team because of the team he was drafted by not talent at all
most habs fans would have a hard time admitting that Kessel is a better goal scorer than Andre Kostytsin, so it doesnt surprise me

Habs fans can suck it. They`re mad little Louis Leblanc didn`t make the team. Who cares, he`s probably gonna be claimed off waivers in a few years and turn into an all-star for the Florida Panthers. Kadri`s gonna be rockin the Maple Leaf for a long time comin.

I guess the Habs' lack of size
is a “clever” metaphor of the size of their fans’ brains and their lack of logic.
