Airing of Grievances - Winkle

Once upon a time many moons ago (Oct 22, 2008 to be exact), a popular PPP member who was loved by all and simply known as "Winkle" wrote an ode to the one hockey team that occupies our hearts and is the subject of this very accursed blog.

People sang, they cried, they cheered and ate bacon.  Someone else, who probably had too much time on their hands, turned it into an actual song which was eventually combined with the very latest in moving-picture technology to create what was then heralded as the greatest achievement of human civilization since a bunch of nerds put a couple of jocks on a rock in space known as the moon.

However, upon further analysis and careful examination, I have in fact discovered that Winkle's celebrated masterpiece was actually nothing more then an incredibly far-sighted satirical dig on our team.
