Airing of Grievences - Red Wings Fans

Ah, the Red Wings. Before Gary Bettman started screwing with everything in the NHL, you were one of our greatest rivals. Back in the Norris division, there were great battles, and then there were the great number of years where both the Leafs and the Red Wings suck.

You do remember that, don’t you? 1974 to 1987- 13 straight losing seasons. From the original expansion in 1967, until 1987, you qualified for the post season only 5 times. You yourselves had to endure 40 years without a cup, until you managed to get a Hall of Fame coach with a Hall of Fame roster to fix that for you. But nowadays, it seems you’ve completely forgotten that. 10 years of competitive hockey, 4 Stanley Cups – and suddenly, you’re the biggest group of self-entitled hockey fans outside of Quebec. Please, remember when you were the most maligned franchise in the league, and come back to reality. Your arrogance and conceit is sickening.

PS - We still have more cups than you.

My biggest peave

They take cheap shots, skate 6 men on the ice for 30 seconds, and just generally act like douches who can get away with anything because the refs wont call them. But then squeal like stuck pigs when a zetteburg dive doesnt get called. Whores.
