Airing of Grievances: those certain Leafs fans.

You know, I totally get that the Leafs are more than just a sports team and encompass something greater. But I do have to tell there is the faction of the fandom I cannot tolerate. And really, they occupy a spot for all teams. Those who think they are the effing GM and bandy about ridiculous trades and go on about alleged inside information.

Hey guys, reading Eklund is letting the terrorists win. I'm tired of those who are content to marinate in their misery and talk about how over this team they are. Ok, leave. You're like the person who complains constantly about their relationship and goes on about how tomorrow, no the day after they are getting out. But stays because it is easy and moving boxes is hard work and you don't know anyone with a truck.

Don't get me wrong I love this team through and through. But like gambling and jell-o shots and Home Shopping Network, know your limit and don't get consumed by your fandom that it ruins you. Because you know what? It makes you a not pleasant person to be around. You poison the well with your constant and circular rantings. Plus you lack witticism and bon mots. There is a reason why I remind people to "keep it cute or put it on mute." It is for the greater good.
