Meanwhile, his Team Canada teammate, Nazem Kadri, will be seeking to establish his persona in the minds of Leaf fans across the country as a bona fide candidate for stardom once he graduates to the NHL. In case you've been keeping score at home, the Leafs haven't actually used a first-round pick to draft a true star since Darryl Sittler. Unless you count Wendel Clark. Or Tuukka Rask."
I understand Cox can be a retard, but who in their right mind doesn't consider Clark a TRUE star?

Clarke was a fan favorite and a big time name in Ontario, but his name wasn’t a draw at other rinks.
Being a #1 overall draft pick, a fan favourite in the NHL’s biggest market for over a decade (albeit not quite consecutively), and one of the most exciting players to skate in the NHL ever… that’s not enough to make him a star?

You could explain to Cox how Clark is a star, but he’s too dumb to understand. He’ll reply with “1967”
