The Vesa is off doing whatever the Vesa does when he isn't in goal. Carl Gunnarsson has a hurty elbow. Clearly the Blue and White needs a nurse with lots of band aids.

What do the coaches do at the beginning of the intermission?.. i.e. them walking a separate way from the players. Do they talk amongst themselves while the players deal with their equipment, etc?

Probably different every game.
They might have to confer with team medics, trainers, assistant coaches, etc. For example, last year with the Leafs, Dallas Eakins watched every game from a booth somewhere to get a different perspective on the game, and had to report back to Wilson. He also wore a headset, but you’d think that between periods, they’d discuss further what he’d seen.
