not that I care about the outcome or the actual competition itself, but I wonder what the attendance is… I’ll assume it’s going to be mainly families and kids belonging to clubs or something…

...Being surrounded by Sens and Habs fans makes me lose faith in humanity...

Apparently it’s a few thousand fans.

It filled up as it went along. If I had to guess, there were maybe five or six thousand there in the lower bowl.

It’s mostly for kids, I think, given how it was presented.

Lower bowl was pretty full. They do sell tickets for the upper bowl, but I didn’t see a soul up there.

It’s heavy on the kids stuff between events – there’s a giant shopping cart promo, remote control cars, etc. My 4 and 6 year olds love it and it’s the only chance they’ll have to sit in the platinums until they start working in 20 years and have a shot at corporate tix.

Highlights for me were Beauchemin teeing one up from the hashmarks and blowing it by Engleage. Would love to see him do that in a real shoot-out. It’s also cool to see the Leafs interacting with the kids on the ice (a group of 8 year olds were invited. Beauchemin also had, what I presume to be his kid, out on skates taking shots on Joey Mac with Mayers and Komi).
