It was an insanely catchy little jingle in one episode of a show called Red Dwarf. Seriously, I last saw the show when I was in Baltimore about ten years ago, and I still can get it running through my head that easily.

I always liked Tongue tied better though, mainly because I didn;t like later red dwarf that much

I liked the earlier shows, too. They seemed to get a little strange later on.
I actually sat through Doctor Who for it (there was a channel that showed that kind of stuff late at night / early in the morning), and I never liked Doctor Who.

Rimmer was a key character. Oddly enough the hologram was one of the most human and real people in the show.
It seemed as though they were never sure quite how to make Kochanski an actual character instead of a pretty plot device. She seemed kind of cold to everyone, and the plotlines involving her seemed awkward and forced.

yeah she just didn;t seem to work out all tat well. then again, it’s also possible that it seemed worse considering all the gold earlier in the series—it had a large way to fall or something

The only funnier bit with Rowan Atkinson was a couple pieces of standup that I saw once. In one he was doing the typical plot-line of a historical fiction movie, and the best was when he was the attendant greeting new admissions to Hell and giving the sinners their introductory orientation.

They did perfect the “woe is us, we lose every good player that plays for the Oilers” very well. Not that I blame the Oilers, they just dell from their dynasty differently from the Isles. Remember the Isles weren’t that bad either in the 1990s.

I no longer want to tank for Tavares
This entire season was about getting rid of bad contracts and leading up to finishing low enough to get Tavares.
However, now that I look at the Penns, it likely isn’t worth tanking for JT.
Clearly the Penns organization tanked it to get Crosby and Malkin. Without these two they are pretty much not much better than Isles or Trashers.
As a Leaf fan, I don’t want wins necessarily but I do want them to play well. Hopefully Burke get bring in guys who truly want to play in TO and not guys who get hideous NTCs on top of grotesque salaries (McCabe, Tucker et al)
I’m just hoping that Burkie is smart enough to lock up the roll players (like Moore) as good as he locks up the starts (schenn, and who ever we get this year) so we dont end up as a one line team

will be a UFA and I heard during the game that he just wants to focus on the season right now and contract talk can wait a couple of months. He is from the GTA (Thornhill) so I can see him staying here for a reasonable stipend.
We’ll see though. If Mitchell plays like he did tonight more and more, Moore is likely gone by the trading deadline.
