Kyle Wellwood took a minor penalty for high-sticking last night, ending his streak of 160 straight games without a penalty. The NHL record is 185.
Ironically, despite all the "did he even know where the penalty box was?" jokes, he's actually quite familiar with it since he serves all the Canucks bench minors.
