Liverpool 1 Manchester United 0
This is completely off-topic but I get to do this because I said it was okay. Two hilarious (and presumably good looking fellows) absolutely ruined an ugly and dim-witted Manchest United fans' life. The next time someone tells you that you take hockey too seriously think of the last time you did something this hilarious to defend your team's honour.
No, really, think about it because it's probably been too long. And the next time some Habs fan is running his mouth maybe this will inspire you.

Wow, I read that and all I could think is what a couple of complete assholes the liverpool fans are. That’s just cruel, sad and kind of pathetic.
What?
The United fan was going to drive 10 hours to cheat on his wife with some chick he met on Facebook.
The two scousers are heroes for saving her from a lifetime of being married to that jerk. It was a public service.

my thoughts exactly.

Yeah that’s messed up too, but for them to set the trap is pretty low class. I dunno, it seems like they were just obnoxious bullies to me. It’s just taking the whole “fan” thing a tad too far.

Freaks me out to think that opposing teams fans might want to stalk me and make my life hell, just for being a fan.. yikes.

I think of it more as Karma, if he’d been a good person, none of this would have happened to him.

Typical Scousers.
Godd… I shake my head when I think of City – a 32 year futility streak and no end in sight. Just remember mate, there really is only ONE football club in Manchester – City’s just pretending.

A Leafs fan
Saying it’s not worth supporting a team that haven’t won in a while? You must have some type of internal conflict. Remember us beating you home and away last year? That’s just a glimpse, my friend. The future’s bright, the future’s blue and white…
I remember alright lol – although I’m trying to forget, thank you for reminding me. As to the future being blue and white – I fully agree – Leafs to win the cup in 2011. City on the other hand… Abu Dhabi United’s billions can’t buy them a history. It also, apparently, can’t buy them players (as the rest of the football world rejoiced when Kaka didn’t want to leave AC Milan for City).

Yeah
The romantic story of plucky underdogs AC Milan, who were nearly relegated for match-fixing, retaining a guy they bought from Sao Paulo. What a wonderful story that was.
City will get talent. They will buy players. They will continue to get better. It’s just a matter of time.
And City have plenty of history, winning or not.
You are, sadly, correct about the former (that they will buy players and continue to get better) – as much as I hate to admit it, with that much money to throw around, it’s pretty much inevitable.

And City has one of the best academies in Europe
With lots of promising players coming through – Richards, Ireland, Sturridge, Johnson, Onouha, etc. – and we can afford to keep them. Though Sturridge asking for 70K is ludicrous.
Not at all – you’ve got ownership who won’t hesitate to throw out more money than most people can even dream of, you might as well shoot for the stars in your asking price.

Well with those billions of dollars, if you ask nicely, maybe we can buy you guys some nice big speakers so you can have a little crowd noise during your home matches.
God, United fans annoy me so much that I had to sign up to say that. Glad theres another Leafs/Citizens fan in the world though.

It’s alright, we can forgive your jealousy – after all, we actually win things.

Yeah
I must have dreamt that 2005 CL and 2006 FA Cup…the sky’s been lightening…we’ll be on our perch soon enough.

Ummmmm – more commenting to City’s total futility streak than Liverpool’s inability to win the Premiership.

Ok
Well, Godd, I’ll let you take that one although has United ever relegated City?
Pension Plan Puppets: A Toronto Maple Leafs blog and a group therapy session.
Plus you don't have to sell your soul
to support City.
But let BWE have his fun. Living in the past will become the only comfort for ManUre fans once City overtakes them for good. Sort of like Habs fans, really. Sad.
Living in the past is when your team USED to be good and isn’t anymore (aka: Habs fans). Living in the present is when your team actually IS good.
Which is what we can expect from United for a good long time.

more to the point, Man U lost

I don’t care much about ManU, I just don’t wanna see Liverpool to win anything…
Как же так может быть?
to me, watching Man U is like watching the Habs or Sens lose, always satisfying

Как же так может быть?

Also, I call BS
Since this story contains no mention of:
A) whingeing
B) theft
these clearly aren’t Scousers involved.
But it does have an arrogant prick so at least the United part must be true.
