Around SBN: Jeremy Lin Continues Rampage, New York Wins On Road

Being a westcoaster has its advantages, like being able to get the early (late-nite) scoops!

According to New England Sports Network and the Boston Herald, the Bruins have offered their first- and third-round picks in the draft, as well as six-foot-five forward Joe Colborne, the team's top pick from last season.

I don’t think that would do, but it’s nice to see the offers are starting at a reasonable level..

Burke said he wanted a D back. A 1st, 3rd and last yrs first round pick ain’t bad, it isn’t the Carter deal though. I guess it all comes down to the prospect, anyone know who this kid is?

It needs a bit more. Like Blake Wheeler.

Not sure

if Kabby is worth the Carter deal to Boston, they wanna beef up for their Cup run and that’s their main concern and Kabby hasn’t had a great year and is just coming off an injury

one could argue he deserves the higher price since he still has an additional year left on his contract at a very very fair price but I don’t see Boston management being too concerned about that atm

Really irked me in the summer when we weren’t able to sign Wheeler. He was a perfect signing in that he was young, a good prospect, and wouldn’t cost anything. Stupid Bruins.

Though I’m betting if we signed him he woulda flopped.

Apparently he was only ever going to Boston. He’s great friends with Kessel.

Good

knowing that we didn’t have a realistic chance makes me feel better. Thanks.
