This is great news for his development and would never have been possible if he had stayed in junior. Kubina and Kaberle will not play for the Czech Republic and Ponikarovsky will not be suiting up for Ukraine in Pool B. Ian White's continued association with the Wendel 'stache has resulted in him getting picked for Team Canada. It is wonderful news that he's been recognized for his yeoman effort over the past season. So that's two members of the worst defence in the league representing Canada. Maybe brighter days are ahead?
