Yeah, you look over there and [St. Louis] has three former first-round Leafs and they made the playoffs. Mats and I are over here and we made the playoffs as well. So, it’s kind of funny that they keep letting guys go all the time. There might be too many [off-ice] demands… it’s not as team-focused there. It seems the Leafs are always thinking about individuals, but when you go to a new club, it just cares about what you’re doing for the team and not about things like statistics. It’s a bit of a change and the big difference here is that we have such strong talent through the roster. That it makes it easier for me and Mats. It wasn’t like that in Toronto.
Working Class Howard has pulled some great quotations from our dear old friend Fats Wellfed. I love that the smug little jerk tries to pretend that he had anything to do with the Canucks' success. 5-4-9 since January 1, 2009 isn't the stuff of legends. Your replacement, Mikhail Grabovski, put up 8-17-25. We really miss you!
I would thank him for giving us yet more proof that the locker room had become a poisoned atmosphere to the point that all Fats and Mats and the rest of the crew could think about was themselves. When you ask why Kaberle and more of those guys have to/had to go this is a prime example.
The leadership clearly wasn't there if they didn't think it was important enough to ensure focus if they couldn't be bothered to ensure that the scrubs had their head in the game.
Oh, and the reason the Leafs stunk last year? Because of you and McCabe and Raycroft. With the most games played by rookies in the league the Leafs fell 4 points short of your total last year Fats.

@Fatty Wellfed: You got injured. Injured again. Then injured one more time as your contract was set to expire, and placed on waivers. You weren’t let go; you were unceremoniously dropped.
Wings fan by birth. Leafs fan by empathetic association.
also you were fat and useless

Hopefully wellgurt will be sent down to the AHL so perhaps Deveaux can smash him into the boards after he’s caught admiring his pretty pass.

There’s a limit to what you can do to Wellwood. Punches just sink into his flabby exterior. He’s like a stress-reliever masquerading as a hockey player.

Oh spare me
. It seems the Leafs are always thinking about individuals, but when you go to a new club, it just cares about what you’re doing for the team and not about things like statistics.
Cause no one put the ‘fat, soft, and lazy’ in team like Kyle Wellwood, the Donut Warrior.
This isn't my battle, but...
Yeah, you look over there and [St. Louis] has three former first-round Leafs and they made the playoffs.
That’s officer thinking, right there. Was Wellwood a sports columnist in a former life?
Lighthouse Hockey: Side effects may include Weight gain and frequent game loss.
Kyle Wellwood is fat.

haha, and I love how he’s got so much damn food in front of him that he only takes one bite of everything before tossing it behind him.
haha, and how he eats the same chicken leg about 3 times
