This aired at about 6:05pm, but the feed didn’t start coming in until like 10 to 6. The associate producer and the editor had to rush like madmen when getting constant updates from the show producer saying “hurry up! That’s on the air in 5 minutes!”

They pieced it together as quickly as they could, and only watched the first couple seconds of the sign off before deciding that it must be the take Roger want to use. It’s a tough break for Roger, because he never assumed that take would see the light of day, and now he’s all over the internet for a “live tv” slip up.

In short, it didn’t get watched before it got put to air. Something that should never, ever, ever happen.

That makes a heck of a lot more sense. It didn’t seem likely that it was a live segment!

Someone is in deep doo-doo! Although it makes me curious about what other bloopers are out there.. I would like some clips of Hazel Mae swearing like a sailor.. Hawt.
