was at the game…he played well…the goal they scored was a wraparound he should of had…but otherwise he was solid…

Running over terribleness in search for something positive about the Leafs. Anything? Anyone?!

will this be followed by another lemon of a game, a la game 2?

the wraparound goal was just a bad play by all. Stralman got turned around down low, but that’s how cycles work. There were two Marlies at the net but neither got in the way of the stuff attempt, Pogge lost it through his pads, and then the one Moose in the crease beats two Marlie defenders to the puck for the goal. Pogge can’t let that stuff attempt through, but if our D is playing competently that play gets broken up three times before it gets to the net.

The Moose ended up outshooting the Marlies despite an early shot advantage for us, Pogge came up big on the few clear chances we let through, and got lucky with a post or two.

Did anybody watching on TV get a clear look at the Marlies goal that was waived off? It looked like a clear goal on the replay in the arena.

it was a goal…the stick wasn’t above the cross bar…I guess they don’t do reviews in rink for the AHL…but I haven’t seen the tv highlights yet…only the same replays they showed in the arena

They showed it in the arena but they stopped it after the puck hit the post and slide back into the Moose goalie. So the replay they showed in the arena never actually showed the puck going into the net.

Stupidly the game wasn’t on LeafsTV so I have no idea what happened.
