Bill C-1967/42
Whereas ice hockey is Canada's national sport;
Whereas the sport of ice hockey is enjoyed throughout our nation by Canadians of all ages, genders, abilities and cultural backgrounds;
Whereas the Toronto Maple Leafs are by far the nation's most popular hockey team;
Whereas Pension Plan Puppets is the mothership for the Barilkosphere;
Whereas Pension Plan Puppets, as fostered by community associations, Maple Leafs bloggers, and by Leaf fans and critics alike, contributes to a stronger Canada by promoting the participation of individuals in their communities and the solidarity of those communities;
Whereas encouraging the involvement of youth and women in particular in an on-line community is an appropriate objective of the Parliament of Canada, and an Act to establish a national day to celebrate that on-line communtiy would contribute to increasing that involvement;
And whereas Pension Plan Puppets has served as a unifying force throughout Leafs Nation, is an important component of our contemporary identity in Leafs Nation, and is considered a cornerstone of our unique Canadian culture;
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:
SHORT TITLE
1. This Act may be cited as the National Pension Plan Puppets Day Act.
NATIONAL PENSION PLAN PUPPETS DAY
2. Throughout Canada, in each and every year, the third Friday of February shall be known as "National Pension Plan Puppets Day".
3. For greater certainty, National Pension Plan Puppets Day is not a legal holiday or a non-juridical day.

We’re up there in terms of the hockey blogs. In terms of overall we’re not even close to the top.
Pension Plan Puppets*
* Blog contains less than 2% puppet content by weight.
But the Leafs haven’t made the playoffs since 2004, whereas a lot of the more popular blogs are getting ready for the playoffs right now. If the Leafs become good again and start winning I think we’re going to see this place get huge real fast.

We’re #5 in hockey and nowhere near the top overall. Some of the baseball sites are ginormous.

none of that matters....
this is the best Leafs site out there. Period, hands down, bar none. Wherever you guys sit in the pantheon of SBN matters little to me.

Which hockey sites are in the top five? I assume Mirtle is since he can rig the numbers…
