Grabbo
he’s still got plenty of upside. As much as I love Hagman, I don’t see him being more than he already is. Solid two way player with the ability to put up points. Grabovski has actual first line potential…
Poni has plateaued, he’ll never be more than he already is, solid second or third liner. Blake will be about the same as well…

If Hagman stays healthy I think he’ll pot just as many goals as Grabbo

Blake’s producing about the same as Alex Kovalev.

i guess i’m loking at “best” as an improvement. If Blake produces the same as he did this year, then he’s having a standard year. if he improves, he’ll have a better year than Grabbo. I don’t see him improving on those totals though.
if i’m wrong, then great…

I voted Blake-
Y’all know how I much I love Grabbo, but I’ve been convinced since Blake signed that he would regain his Long Island form IF he gets the necessary linemates.
2008-09 Toronto NHL 76 25 37 62 -2 40 5 1 5 298 0.82
2007-08 Toronto NHL 82 15 37 52 -4 28 2 0 0 332 0.63
2006-07 NY Islanders 82 40 29 69 1 34 14 0 7 305 0.84
I’m convinced he will hit 40 goals again. If Moore had stayed, he might have lower thirties. The question is, would that be a bigger achievement than Grabby potting 30?

I say Hagman (if healthy) just because he plays the best all-round game of the 4. He may not have the same point totals but I would like to hope he’ll be fairly invaluable.
If the question is purely who will get the most points, I figure Grabbo.
Gerber power!!!1
Hagman is great. He hit 20 and missed 20 games. I love everything he brings to the table but I think that after a summer of hard work that Grabbo is going to outpace him offensively.

You’re not just a “glass half full” optimist, you’re a “the glass is so full that even if you took three huge drinks out of it it would still be full” optimist.
This is unrelated to your Poni comment which could very well be correct.

And you dig that about me, right?

I hope so
we’re finally seeing him use his speed and if he keeps it up next year like he’s shown at the end of this year, he’ll have a better season.
Grabbo has to face the dreaded sophmore slump.

This was the first year Hagman missed more than a few games and he had played all 82 the previous 2 seasons in Dallas. I believe if Hagman plays a full season next year he could easily have 30 goals and 65-70 points. He seems to be able to score no matter who his linemates are. Grabbo will improve on this year’s totals, but is still young and too steaky.
Draft Schmaft....I wanna win the last 12 games.
I agree about Hagman. Also in games he’s played he’s been dealing with concussion symptoms this season.

I think Blake will go back to the lost wandering soul peppering shots into the logo of opposing goalies next year. Grabo though has shown some promise and should be a high scorer if we hypnotize him into thinking he’s playing Montreal 82 times.

Great idea
Put special contacts that make him see the CH logo all of the time.

Well,
That might get us into the “pineapple-related homicide” category Jared was talking about. We’d need a full-time PTSD specialist on the training staff.

I think all the pineapple photoshops have really swayed this vote. THat and the hatred of pineapples and support of their killers…

I love pineapple.
In tiny, bleeding chunks that is, then grilled on a pizza at 400 degrees.
