The link is in French, so I've summed up the gist of it here: The head of the KHL, Alexander Medvedev, is toying with the idea of trying to put a team back in Québec City, but doesn't want to make the Gary Bettman and the NHL any angrier. In fact, he says that he wants to improve ties between the two leagues (HA!) and, to avoid "misunderstandings" is considering putting in a formal request to Bettman in an attempt to acquire a team and move it to Canada. He uses a phrase similar to Ballsillie's "unserved markets" to explain his motivation behind trying to put a team back in QC. "I am certain that QC deserves to have a team in the NHL", he says. Medvedev has been in touch with the former owner of the Nordiques about the viability of the idea. This is probably just political grandstanding, in order to get the NHL to take him seriously, but it's still noteworthy. Plus, anyone who is willing to do this to Gary Bettman is OK by me.
