Advice time
I need a new pair of headphones for my iPod…Do I
a) convenience over quality – small pair that can fit in my pocket
b) quality over convenience – pair that gives great sound
c) if a combination of the two exists please let me know.

Another issue is that I break a lot of my headphones so I’m hesistant to spend a lot of money on a pair.

Get some cheap crappy ones that are convenient unless your ears are really good.
Or if you’re a foolish audiophile-wannabe who just thinks their ears are really good. In which case I have a $500 wooden volume knob to sell you.

I think I would watch more basketball if I had a PVR. Just so I could ffwd through all the commercials/timeouts freethrows etc.

All the games I’ve watched so far have been on my friend’s PVR. They’re huge basketball fans (unlike me) and even they can’t stand how long it takes.

I have a pair of ear bud -like headphones that have a bit of a hook on the outside, so i get more durable than normal headphones AND they stay in my ears unlike earbuds

they weren’t expensive at all (in Canada, they’d probably be like 20-25 dollars, cuz they were 16 in sales tax free New Hampshire)

Wanted to show him in the Swedish jersey. It has the Canadian flag in the background which sort for redeems it AND he doesn’t have a goal medal around his neck which also helps.

Considering their response to the various Chechen crises (eg the Moscow theatre siege and Beslan) it’s entirely possible they meant it. They tend to be pretty blase about the casualties they both take and inflict.
The fact they’ve admitted they did it at all is a huge step forward in openness from the navy that brought you the Kursk disaster.
