When Balsillie targeted Pittsburgh, I thought it was a real shame. When he targeted Nashville, I was at best ambivalent. Whether you consider it "nationalistic BS" or not, there's an emotional component to this one. Like it or not, it's the Jets. Maybe people forget what a complete kick in the teeth it was when Winnipeg left, the spiral things were on that also consumed Quebec and threatened Calgary, Edmonton and even Vancouver to an extent. I don't know how this is going to pan out. I'm certainly not going to stir the pot with the Yotes fans, who are also innocent bystanders in this. Should the Jets come home, I hope they wind up with the expansion team they should have gotten 13 years ago. Yes, I get that they aren't going to wind up in Winnipeg, where they should go. If you want a fanpost about the way in which the NHL has hosed Hamilton over the past 85 years, I can certainly provide one.
