Still, I’m a Snow Patrol fan when it comes to that mold of music.

it’s more like 5 or 6 hours to montreal from TO, depending on weather, traffic, your bladder, etc…

by daoust on Jun 2, 2009 11:43 AM EDT up reply actions

5 to 6 hours? Really? It’s never taken me that long to get there, though I do live not far from the DVP so I miss a lot of cross-town traffic.

yeah, i’m in the west end, and most of the times i’ve driven it we’ve had multiple stops, have gotten caught in traffic, etc. i’d still say 5 hours is a safe estimate though.

by daoust on Jun 2, 2009 11:47 AM EDT up reply actions

Last time I went there I think it was a 6 hr drive but that’s because we took my grand-folks with us and we had to pit-stop at every rest-stop for them to use the washroom

One time I went for the Grand Prix. We left at 3 AM and were having breakfast in Montreal at 7. We might have exceeded the speed limit just a little though…

For a low fee I will drive to Toronto and drive anyone who doesn’t want to listen to Coldplay to Montreal.

We will listen to Cannibal Corpse the whole way.

I also be diggin’ the Coldplay, and I don’t care who knows it; I am old enough to be comfortable with my own musical tastes. The lyrics are meh, but the music is very well done. Me likey. Not my favourite, but not everybody can be the Rheostatics.

Coldplay is fine. Not always my bag, but the guys definitely are great musicians. That counts for a lot.
