It's Poaching Time
With the uncertainty in Phoenix it is unclear what they will do with their free agents. OdinMercer has a post over at Five for Howling detailing their dilemma. Of the players Odin listed which would you want to see in the Blue and White knowing that Burke and other GMs will be eager to take advantage of the uncertainty (Sorry Odin). Enver Lisin
I was really impressed with his play this past season and his name is a lot of fun to say. Can’t be an offer sheet though because the Leafs’ don’t have the picks to hit certain categories.

yes

Of that list
Upshall, Lisin and Yandle.
Lindstrom and Nikulin would be second choices.

Forget Phoenix, Boston might not be able to keep Kessel with the Krejci signing.

I’m sure they’ll make room somehow.

Boston will get Kessel signed. They will just have to dump Sturm or Bergeron.

did you ssee
Bergeron in these playoffs?
I’ll take him on the Leafs anytime. He’s a winner and absolutely killer on the PK.

The Bruins fan in me would hate to see him go, but if he is going to go anywheres I would want it him to go to Toronto. I still think he can get 70 points a season, just not in Boston. With Savard and Krejci on the first 2 lines and guys like Hamill, Colbourne and Marchand on the way up Bergeron is expendable and $4.75 mil a year is way too much for them to be paying him to play on their third line.

I love being absolutely stacked at center, though.

I like it too, just not when your third line center is making that much money and the team is up against the cap.
