Report: Cujo being shown the door
Curtis Joseph will not be wearing the Blue and White next year.
Regardless of whether or not the Toronto Maple Leafs can sign Swedish free agent goalie Jonas (The Monster) Gustavsson, considered the best goalie not playing in the NHL, Joseph's days are numbered in Toronto.
"Great service as a Leaf," Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke told the Toronto Sun. "But we are moving on."
Joseph posted a save percentage of .869 and goals against average of 3.57 for Toronto.
The Toronto Sun report also suggests the Leafs won't retain restricted free agent Justin Pogge, once believed to be the goalie of the future in T.O. Martin Gerber has not been ruled out by Burke as returning.

Well, it was fun while it lasted, Cujo. My hat is most certainly (still) off to him. I think it’s crazy to give up on Pogge now, though. Sign him to a tiny deal, and keep him in the minors for another year – you never know! I’m not surprised to see Gerber getting a second look as backup though, but only as a “Plan B” for if we can’t sign Gustavsson.
I never can figure out
Why a grown adult in a sports arena is simply incapable of finding the exit door on their own. Great mystery of life, yes? I mean, how stupid do you have to be?
