Mataphorically speaking, of course. Seriously, can you imagine any circumstances that would see a Toronto reporter writing this sort of pap about anyone inb the Leafs organization? Owners don't often get to play the hero's role. That's for the sweaty athlete -- scoring the overtime winner, hitting the home run to deliver the crowning moment of what is usually a long-awaited championship. Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk is an exception. He's a hero two times over.
