Case of the Mondays

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Before we get down to the links, here is someone we can add to the gallery of "Famous People In Leafs Apparel" along with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Robert Smith.

Picture_1_medium

It's Dennis freaking Leary! Now, Based on my limited knowledge of Rescue Me, him in a Leafs shirt is curious but I will just roll with it. Stick tap to The Canadian for pulling this up for me. Here are your links and slide me anything I missed;

Hit me with whatever I missed. Oh and unrelated but awesome; My Parents Joined Facebook. Oh technology...

UPDATE. Lunchtime powerup;

That's all you have for me? That was easy.

I saw that episode of Rescue Me and thought the same thing re the leafs shirt

Now Leary is a big hockey fan as evidence by having hall of famers cameo on his show and he did do a couple of episodes that surrounded the firefighters taking on the cops in a hockey game, but his choice for the Leafs shirt was interesting, since it was based in NY you would think it would be a Rangers shirt.

None the less it was great.

I would like to announce that I’m “bankrolling” our Leafs players in the FTF NHL09 tournament. If you win the tournament and are a regular member of our site and a Leafs fan I will do something nice for you. It might be a blog post, it might be cash money, it might be an article of Leafs clothing… I DUNNO.

I just want one of you guys to win it and hopefully this is a good incentive.

About the Leafs Shirt

Leary is still a born and bred fan of all Boston teams, including the Bruins. But because he’s also a hockey fan, he sports shirts of different franchises past and present in each episode.

I just got back in Rescue Me after a hiatus of a few years (needed something to tide me over to hockey season and the next season of Breaking Bad)
