I don’t think it’ll happen, and the only way it would would be if they lured him with a dump truck full of money. The Sens are in no danger of winning a cup, so they’d have to take a brutal cap hit this season to get him signed.
No way
Sundin may take forever to make a decision but he doesn’t make bad ones

Yah, but even in the worst case (he signs with em) it’ll cost them a ton of money for probably no tangible results a la vancouver. So it would still be amusing!
I would still feel sick if I saw him in a Senators jersey.

Sens would have to move Heatley before they can even start thinking about considering wooing Sundin… right now Ottawa has ~4 mil cap space left
This is what happens when you tie up half your cap in 3 players

Mats joining the Sens
would make me want to burn my Sundin jersey. I love Mats but that’s unforgivable. It’s not going to happen.

I love
Sundin so much that I would burn down Ottawa first before I let him sign there

I’m with ya there.
But I’m pretty sure he’d never go there. He’s said the Canucks (ugh) are his first choice if he comes back again…

Hrm...
The two of us burning Ottawa to the ground could possibly be the best alliance ever formed in the history of human civilization since the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939.

If this happens...
I will make a video of myself burning my Sundin jersey on my front yard, like that Habs fan douchebag.
But it will never happen. Mats isn’t a punk bitch.

I was going to call him a hack, but asshat is much more appropriate.
